New Chapter

Yup I am still awake at this 'ungodly hour' LOL
Those of you who knows that line, please keep it to yourself.

Anyway
Just want to express myself a little bit before heading to bed, Moral midterm tmrwww >_<
Those who followed my Facebook and Instagram would know what event is it that I attended earlier in campus. So here comes the poetic version of me.

*ahem ahem aheeeem*

Today I witnessed a few leaders,
Leaders who knows what are they do best and that people acknowledged them,
Leaders who are humble, honest and hilarious
And leaders who shines out from the rest.
Not only that, I noticed
Certain people got out of their comfort zone too,
Trying new things,
Communicating with new people,
Making new bonds as they go,
In the path of life.

Needless to say, being a leader is not easy,
At all.
You have lead them,
Be confident,
Always planning ahead
And make others look up to you.
Carrying the responsibilities with the position
While balancing the endless assignments, tests and studies
That they already have.

Again today I see such people at the meeting.

Seeing people change from their first impression
Into who they are on stage that moment
Was truly amazing.
I mean, provided you know that person well enough to judge that.

It's like watching the butterfly hatch out of the pupae. (Not literally)

However certain people just can't help to judge,
Yes I meant to judge a book by its cover,
What rights do you have to judge others in pursuing what they do?
What makes you think that you have the say and to criticize others' ability just because you think that you are better than the rest of us?
Not going to further elaborate anymore.
Either way there was a moment of victory when he replied

'If you failed once, that doesn't mean you'll fail forever"

Next time, go look at yourself in the mirror first and think before you say something hurtful to others.
Cos the things that are said cannot be unsaid.
And the impression remains even as time goes by.

and
Lastly to those who didn't get what they want,
Stay strong and be brave
Cos good things come to those who wait.
Take it as a chance to further improve yourself for the better,
Maybe not for the sake of others but do it and try it for your own sake instead. (Yes Egoisme)

Maybe the timing isn't right or
maybe you're not prepared for it even at times you think that you are able to handle it.
So why not take this chance to do better?
At least you won't feel bad because you have put in some efforts in trying to convince others about it
Well it is something instead of nothing after all.

Maybe next time.

And that's the end!

I look forward to working with the new EXCO board of the Biological Science Society for the upcoming year. Here's to another 365 days with our new awesome committees of 14/15.

"Since the next page is still empty, so why not take the chance to write something on it?"

So here's something for Day 1, the day where we became a family (:

Here's Vice Secretary signing off.
