Can't believe its been a week since T.E.A.M camp ended. It's going to be week 4 soon, I can already foresee my busy-ness until Raya.
Oh wow, can't wait till then! *excited* This camp was an unexpected thing that I joined with the BE bunch together with the juniors, too bad not everyone could join the camp. Its okay, life goes on and the camp we went over the weekend. It's going to be a long post so bear with me.
Woke up at 4am to bathe and met Iris at the bus station at 4.30am. Ended up both of us were one of the earliest people to reach cos the announcement said to be there by 5am. Met up with the rest and left Kampar at about 5am after slight delay while waiting for the bus drivers to have breakfast that morning.
Reminds me of the time we went for excursion trip during our first semester. Good times.
The view from the window seat eventhough I got the aisle seat next to Melissa. Iris and Mei Yee were fast asleep when the journey started, funny how hyper Melissa and I was singing Counting Stars over and over again until we both finally quiet down at about 6am-ish I think.

Taken with super-canggih camera :P Pardon my messy hair hahaha |

Before we depart from Kampar |
 |
Hi sleepyhead :) |
 |
Hi Melodyyyy |
I woke up again at about 9am-ish cos the bus stopped at the rest station for too long LOL yeah. By that time, Mei Yee and Iris are the one who's hyper. Look what they did to my neck-rest-thingy and not to mention they called it "shitty material". Thanks to Melissa for naming her plushie-thing Shitty (-.-)"

Mei Yee must be looking and hinting at some random guy at the next row :P *Note her eyess* |
 |
Yeahh they did that. |
All of thought of saving our phone's battery cos we wanted to take more pictures during the camp.
After a long journey of twist and turning along the hills and even passing by Genting Highlands, We reached the famous Dusun Eco Park in Pahang. Funny thing when Melissa thought that we are all going for a detour in Genting Highlands. Her excitedness like a little kid in the bus. Back to the story, we reached Dusun Eco Park at I-dont-know-what-time.

Took a panorama of the beautiful green surrounding at the Eco Park. We had to take a small lorry to go uphill in order to reach here. The green-ness is less likely found in the city nowadays. Notice the campfire thingy in the middle? We played games like "Tom and Jerry" and danced around like mad people there later that night. As usual everyone was feeling excited for the 2days 1night trip here. You can tell from their expressions in the pictures.

Iris completely ignoring my presence *saddddd face* |

Here's Kok Sim, Mei Yee and Jun Ray. The two guys were part of the committee for the event. |
Then up we went to the campsite. Sorry for not taking any photos up there and then we started our ice-breaking games and off we are separated into different groups. I had the intuition they the committees did this on purpose =P Hahaha kidding, but yes I did feel slightly isolated. (The person who asked me "How are you feeling" at that time even told me not to answer cos I shot him with that stare that says "Can't you see?")
One of the icebreaking games is to approach people and ask them to write of their first impression on you. And this is what I got. Funny, awesome, cute and the normal things people say to you. Couldn't beat "Pasar Auntie","Mom" and "Tall Shit" too LOL you know who you are. After that we were sorted into different groups and there were like 8 groups in total. My team was Team Rainbow Seven cos there are 7 of us in a group.

After that, all the guys were told to set up the tents while the girls stayed at the hall as to practice the dance for the campfire night later on. It was a song that requires two people where one "catches" another in titanic pose as I would call it. It was a cute dance I would say. It's special in a way where you can meet different people by "falling" or "catching" them. When the guys are done with the setting up, it was the girls turn to took out the mat that serves as the base of the tent and to wash it in the nearby washroom. That was the time where you choose your tent-mates and I guess everyone could tell who were my tentmates :)
With that and lunch done, everyone is geared up for jungle trekking at about 5pm. We didnt have our phones and watches by then so it was a bit hard to judge the time. Jungle trekking was pretty awesome and I enjoyed it to be honest. Felt proud of my group leader Yee Yan for being able to held on despite feeling tired.
For the guys who held a helping hand whenever I needed a pull from time to time, thank you :)
After a tired but awesome jungle trekking, everyone headed back and was required to bathe and eat dinner in an hour time. Talk about camp, the issue I have is time. Ended up eating dinner first cos the queue at the girls bathroom was full. Ended up, my tentmates and I decided to take shower outside the cubicles as in the public ones, cos the cubicle ones were just taking too much of the time we have left. For the record we bathed with our clothes on so there's nothing weird about it LOL Just incase some misunderstood the statement "public". As usual, we laughed like nobody's business cos we constantly pull each other into the cold stream of water. Later at 9pm-ish (I think), the campfire started. Most of us are excited as we see the fire lighted up the night.

Pretty isnt it? :) Seriously thanks a lot to the awesome photographer for the event.

Then it was the surprise celebration for Natalie's birthday after supper and we played cup song too. I am still horrible at it though >< With that done, we called it a night. Most of us are dead tired while Iris remained hyper as usual. The same thing happened during the night before excursion trip as well. The rest of us girls just ignored her talking and singing and straight went to bed. Couldn't exactly blame her cos she is usually the hyper one at night LOL This time everyone pitied Melody cos she slept next to her for the night.
Next morning, the whistle blown at 6am and I was awake by then. Off we went for aerobic exercises led by my group's facilitator, Ming Chong. It felt nice to wake up to the breezy morning in the forest. Then we had to brush each other's teeth as the first activity of the morning. *awkwardness* Changed and off to obstacle courses with the group. Thanks again to the guys of the group for doing most of the job. I felt accomplished somehow for being able to do certain things. Next thing on the list is rock climbing. Have to do that someday, maybe before my 21st? We shall see.
To the final event of the second day, it was time to present the sketch. Ours was to create a sketch between Snow White and Michael Jackson. Yours truly was to be the narrator and well I messed up. The timing between me narrating and the acting didnt really work out well and I felt horrible. What she said was still hurtful to me.
So yeah I'm truly sorry to my groupmates for messing the sketch due to my nervousness.
Looking back, I wish I did better in blending in with others like how other people can with almost anyone. Everyone else seemed so supportive on what they do, I guess that's the whole thing about being a team. Nevertheless, I tried at the very least. Loved the spontaneity of certain people in acting and how they do things I wish I could.
Before I forget, Congrats to Mei Yee's team for getting the best performance and Melody for getting the best female camper award.
Finally, I get to take more pictures when I got back my phone and watch at the end of the day :) All in all it was a good experience with all them, despite it being good or bad. New memories made and some bonds are formed. Now its time for after-camp-pictures.
