May 5th

Well, one week of semester break passed in a blink of an eye isnt it? Sorry for not being able to update my blog for quite some time due to exam stress and also part of my lazyness.

So here I am, writing a post about the pre-birthday celebration for the May babies ; 
Shirley, Kok Sim & Jun Ray. 


We celebrated earlier for them as all of us will be enjoying our semester holidays being at home like now. Wouldn't want them to feel bad as though we've forgotten about it, so everyone planned to have a surprise for them at Secret Recipe. Mainly because some of us have been craving for cheesecake. Initial plan was to gather there for dessert time at about 9pm-ish ... and well the rain decided to stop by. Some of us who were planning to have dinner together, ended up having dinner separately. Reached Secret Recipe at 10pm, only to know that they close at 10.30pm.

Nevertheless, the party continues. The three May babies not knowing anything, were tricked into choosing cakes they like. Finally, ah ma (aka Mei Ting) brought the three slices of cakes together while Melissa suddenly shouted "1,2,..3!" and the Happy Birthday song begins.

The funny part where everyone stopped at the third line of the birthday song and it just went off like mumbling LOL finally Aaron came up with "Happy birthday to Shirley,Jun Ray,Kok Sim" which he said super fast which I can barely catch up. 

With the songs done, it was time for them to make wishes and of course to take pictures. Look at their happy faces.

Two Seconds

It was a hunch, that took two seconds. I thought I saw you, A little different from what I remember, But it felt like this was it. I doubted myself, Thinking that it might just be you, Just when I least expect it. The two seconds felt like a lifetime, The moment your eyes locked on mine. Unforgiven

2 weeks of classes are done and tomorrow is the start of the third week.   I felt like a huge burden has been lifted up (not completely) once last week was over.  From being at the booth to promote the event and ensuring all the venues for my station games has been booked to finalizing the trial run this recent Saturday.  And not to mention having one report to hand in this coming Tuesday without knowing what to write for the discussion as we did not get the results according to the theories.  Almost forgotten to mention of another drama assignment where it is going to be a musical kinda thing with regards to the Principles of Biotechnology subject.  Yeah, that was the summary of my week 2 in the last semester of my second year.   As for the third week, it is finally the Interaction Day which is the event that I have been planning ever since December.  May all goes well and yours truly is excited to be the photogr...
