To summarize this K-drama in 10 words or less, it'll be -  Captivating narrative, top class cinematography, and best line-up of soundtrack . A highly recommended drama for those who are into traditional drama back in the Joseon era. This is the least that you can expect from the writer Kim Eun-Sook and director Lee Eung-Bok's third collaboration together as of 2018. Their previous works were 2016's all hit drama - Descendants of the Sun and Goblin. While keeping in mind that this is entirely fictional, it is still a good series to watch regardless of whether you are well versed in the Korean culture or history where Korea gained independence in 1945 after being under Japanese rule fr 35 years. Can you believe that we're already halfway through the year 2020? I suppose the 'new decade, new me' didn't turn out as what we expected isn't it? Well that's kinda how life is - the unexpected roller coaster ride where you are strapped on without knowing when is the next 'high' or 'low'. It's okay, don't beat yourself up. What matters more is to keep in mind that we will make it through this.  At the same time, I've just realized something as we enter the third month of writing. All this while I've been talking about Korean dramas yet I didn't mention anything about their amazingly curated soundtracks or OST that comes with each drama. These beautiful music not only pleases the ears but it also helps in stirring up the emotions at just the perfect timing.  The classic one is the cue when the main leads first met or walked past each other in slow-mo effect. Let's Talk About The Rose

Seeing the stats for K-pop related content are better than those of K-drama, I've decided to write about another favourite yet underrated band of mine - The Rose. Good bands are hard to come by since the good old CNBlue and FT Island days back then, but Day6 and The Rose are the exception for me.  This has been a little secret among the Black Rose (fandom) because this is the kind of group makes you want to keep it to yourself but at the same time you can't, knowing that they deserve way better recognition for what they have accomplished.  It's just a little sad to see the issue that they are currently facing with their agency.
