Merdeka in IPOH

Yup, you read it right!

I am a few DAYS to finals and yet I went out with buddies for a food trip

LOL

&OHH Happy Inpendence Day Malaysiaaa! :D

#proudtobeamalaysian

Neeways, we left our place at about 7.40am

(Someone took quite long grooming you see :P )

And we were off to Ipoh!

Reached the famous Foh San restaurant at about 8.15am?

There were a whole lot of people there though and so we need to queue for like super long just to get a few dishes.

The awesome breakfast was rm50 for 4 pax
( a bit pricey I'd say but as long as it tastes good, I'm fine with it ;D )

Btw the egg tarts here are awesomeeee :D

Le awesome breakfast :D

Headed off to try tau fu fah & we eventually bought bottles of soya drink to keep as stocks for finals week

Bfre then, Yong Hong saw a shemale (i think) wearing pink tutus

We laughed because he thought he was a girl

Though he looks like he's gonna perform or smthg

So the tau fu fah was awesome & we decided to do some shopping to burn off the fats

(Says the two skinny ones -___- )

We drove to AEON Station 18 which we took some time cos Esmond kept insisting that it was Station 8

LOL

Mainly it was because Yong Hong wanted to buy formal shirts and pants for formal presentation or so.

& we ended up walked around the whole shopping complex and none of us wanted to grab lunch there cos we pretty much have a strict budget at it LOL

Thus, headed back to the tau fu fah place as that place is full of the famous bean sprout chicken

Didnt manage to take any picture of it cos by the time I went off to wash my hands,

The three hungry people have already attacked the chicken and the bean sprouts as well

XD

Before I forget, there's this really nice shop that sells kaya puffs & mooncakes (only for now that is)

Managed to bought some back bfre the queue dragged till the roadside

*sigh of relief*

The shop is called Sin

This whole bunch came right out of the oven when it was our turn to get them.
Regretted not buying like 10 of them back LOL
Finally

Our last stop was a temple called Gua Kek Lok Tong

Technically its a cave with all those stalagmites and stalagtites and all

With statues of deities and demi-gods as well

It rained when we reached so the view is prettier than it usually was

Here's a picture of le belle view :)

The misty effect is so naiseeee :D  #nofilter

With that we headed back to our own caves back in Kampar.

Too bad I missed one of my relatives dinner back in Penang :(

Oh well, thanks for the spontaneous rendezvous trip to Ipoh :D

Lastly : 4 more days to FINALS

Au revoir peeps! :)

Till next time

xoxo
